Leszek Ignatowicz — author of the Don't Fear AI series

Leszek Ignatowicz

He wrote these books because every other AI guide assumed you already knew things you didn't.

Leszek is a practitioner, not a theorist. He walked the full path from sceptic to daily AI user — and then spent months distilling what actually works into guides short enough to read in one sitting. No jargon. No tech prerequisites. No fluff. Just the prompts that get results.

"I wrote these ebooks for my wife. She wanted to use AI but every guide she found assumed things she didn't know. So I stripped it all back to what matters: the exact words to type."
"AI won't replace you. But the person next to you who uses it will get twice as much done — and go home earlier. These books make sure that person is you."

Nine books. One simple rule:
copy, paste, done.

Each book works independently — start with whatever problem is most urgent right now. All nine share the same approach: real situations, ready-to-use prompts, zero technical knowledge required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Every question below is one a real sceptic asked before buying. We didn't soften them.

Part 1 — For the sceptics
Is this just another AI hype book that tells me AI will change my life?
No. This series was written specifically because the author was tired of those books too. There are no grand claims about the future of work, no Silicon Valley cheerleading, and no promises that AI will make you rich. What you get instead: a list of annoying, time-consuming tasks you already deal with every week — and the exact words to type into a free AI chat to handle them faster. That's it.
I've tried ChatGPT. I typed something and got a useless answer. Why would your prompts be any different?
Because "write me an email" is not a prompt — it's a wish. A real prompt tells the AI who it is, what it's doing, for whom, and in what format. That's the ROLE–TASK–FORMAT method used throughout this series. The difference between a vague request and a structured prompt is the difference between a blank page and a finished draft. Every prompt in these books was tested on real situations, refined, and formatted so you only need to fill in your specific details.
I'm not a tech person. Will I even understand this?
That's exactly who these books were written for. There is not a single line of code, no technical setup, no account to create beyond a free ChatGPT at chatgpt.com. The author's starting point was his wife — a mid-career professional with zero interest in technology — and the test was simple: can she open the book, copy a prompt, and get a useful result in under five minutes? She could. You will too.
Isn't AI dangerous? What if it gives me wrong information?
AI can make mistakes — that's a real limitation and we won't pretend otherwise. But so can a colleague, a Google search, or a template you downloaded three years ago. The prompts in this series are designed for practical, low-stakes tasks: writing an email, building a weekly meal plan, comparing two service offers, planning a budget. In all these cases, you read the output and decide whether it makes sense. AI is a first-draft machine, not an oracle. You remain in charge.
My data goes to some American company. Is that safe?
ChatGPT is made by OpenAI, a US company, and their data practices apply to what you type into their chat. The books themselves contain no tracking, no data collection, and no account requirement — you buy once on Amazon and it's yours. For the AI chat itself: don't paste your bank account number or your national ID into any AI tool. For the kinds of tasks in this series — "write a polite rejection email" or "build a meal plan for four people" — there's nothing sensitive being shared. Use common sense about what you type, and you'll be fine.
Why should I pay for prompts? Can't I just Google them?
You can. And you'll spend two hours sifting through Reddit threads, YouTube videos, and blog posts written by people trying to sell you a $497 course. These books cost less than a coffee and give you tested, formatted, ready-to-use prompts for specific real-life situations — organised by problem, not by topic. The value isn't the words. It's the hours you don't lose finding them.
Part 2 — Practical questions
Do I need to pay for ChatGPT?
No. The free version of ChatGPT is fully sufficient for every prompt in this series. You don't need ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, or any paid AI subscription. Open a browser, go to chatgpt.com, and you're ready. No setup required.
How long does each book take to read?
Each book in the series is designed to be read in one sitting — typically 60 to 90 minutes. You don't need to read from cover to cover either: each chapter tackles one specific problem independently. Find the chapter that matches what's annoying you most right now, copy the prompt, and use it today.
I bought a Kindle book before and never read it. What's different here?
Most unread Kindle books are unread because they're too long, too abstract, or too far removed from anything actionable. These books are short by design. Each chapter solves one problem and ends with a prompt you can copy immediately. There's no build-up, no theory section to get through first. Open the book, find your problem, copy the prompt — it takes less time than deciding whether to read it.
What if the prompts stop working as AI changes?
The ROLE–TASK–FORMAT structure used throughout this series is not tied to any specific AI version or model. It works because it's built on how language models process instructions — and that hasn't changed across GPT-3, GPT-4, Claude, or Gemini. If anything, newer models respond better to well-structured prompts. The companion pages (one per book) are also updated as needed.
Can I use these prompts on my phone?
Yes. The ChatGPT app is free on both iOS and Android. The companion pages for each book are mobile-optimised — every prompt has a one-tap copy button. You can go from reading to result in under two minutes, on your phone, anywhere.
Part 3 — Before you buy
Which book should I start with?
Start with whatever problem is costing you the most time right now. Book 1 is for people who dread writing difficult emails or navigating awkward workplace conversations. Book 2 is for anyone who feels like their week manages them rather than the other way around. Book 3 is for anyone who reaches the end of the month wondering where the money went. Each book works completely independently — you don't need to read them in order.
There are nine books in the series. Do I need all of them?
No. Each book is a standalone guide for a specific area of everyday life — communication, planning, money, family, gifting, and more. Buy the one that solves the problem bothering you most right now. If it delivers, the others will be waiting.
What if I buy it and it's not for me?
Amazon's standard Kindle return policy applies — you can return a Kindle book within seven days of purchase if you haven't read more than 10% of it. But honestly: try one prompt first. If the first prompt you copy doesn't save you at least 20 minutes, the book has already paid for itself in information value alone — and you still have eight or nine more prompts to go.
Is there a version for people who don't have a Kindle?
Yes. Kindle books can be read on any device — phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop — using the free Kindle app (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac) or the Kindle Cloud Reader in your browser. You do not need a Kindle device. You don't even need to download anything if you prefer the browser.
What makes this series different from free YouTube videos about AI prompts?
YouTube gives you techniques without context. These books give you the exact prompt for the exact situation you're in — ready to copy, with the blanks clearly marked. No searching through 18-minute videos to find the two minutes that apply to you. No adapting generic advice to your specific problem. Open the chapter, copy the prompt, fill in your details, paste. Done.
